Stacy Cooper built LNJ Employer Services from the ground up with a simple but powerful vision:

Founder & CEO 

Stacy Cooper grew up in the world of small business, shaped by an entrepreneurial family that understood both the freedom and responsibility that comes with owning a company. As the daughter of an accountant, she was introduced early to the importance of accurate financial records, compliance, and doing things the right way. Watching her mother build and operate an accounting firm gave Stacy a strong foundation in bookkeeping and business operations — skills that continue to support her work today.

While many business owners find bookkeeping tedious and time-consuming, Stacy understands it at a practical level. Sorting receipts, reconciling bank transactions, and keeping records aligned with payroll comes naturally to her, allowing her to support clients with clarity and consistency — without making bookkeeping the focus of her services.

Stacy has dedicated her career to the ever-changing field of Human Resources, committing herself to continuous learning and professional development. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Faulkner Universityand is SHRM-CP certified in Human Resource Management. Because HR laws and best practices are constantly evolving, she believes staying informed is not optional — it’s essential.

As a Pryor Plus Member, Stacy has access to an extensive library of training courses and professional resources covering HR compliance, payroll, leadership, and workforce management. This ongoing education ensures her clients remain compliant, protected, and well-informed year after year.

Her professional journey brought her to Mobile, Alabama in a way only life can orchestrate — after meeting her soon-to-be husband at a family wedding in her home state of Vermont. Just a few months later, she relocated to the Port City, where she built her life, career, and business. Today, Mobile is home, and serving the local business community is at the heart of what she does.

Through LNJ Employer Services, Stacy provides Human Resources management, payroll processing, compliance support, and employee systems powered by Workforce Hub. Her clients benefit from customized HR solutions, employee handbooks, accurate timekeeping, scheduling, PTO tracking, and secure payroll — all without the expense of hiring an in-house HR professional. Flexible monthly retainer options allow business owners to access expert support while staying focused on growing their businesses.

Stacy believes strongly that behind every policy, payroll process, and compliance decision is a person.
Putting the Human in Human Resources isn’t just a tagline — it’s how she approaches every client relationship. And when it comes to payroll, she stands firmly by the belief that people deserve to be paid right.

Outside of work, Stacy is a proud mom and Nana to three grandchildren and treasures every moment spent with her family. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, reading, attending concerts, and planning her next mountain adventure.

By the way, LNJ honors the legacy of family business since the name was derived from their children, Leah, Noah, and Jacob. 

She is actively involved in the local business community, holding leadership roles within the Bay Area BNI Chapter where she supports fellow entrepreneurs and business owners through collaboration and service.
